Kathmandu- The Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Central Executive Committee meeting on Monday has concluded that the party was not morally bound to stand by the constitution amendment proposal registered in the parliament by the government, as it was not consulted for the same.

The conclusion was drawn by the meeting chaired by RPP Chair Kamal Thapa, which also called for a new initiative to forge consensus among the parties, as the amendment proposal had hurt the sentiments of the people in Province No. 5, as well as dissatisfying the Madhesi front and the main opposition party, according to the party leader Rajaram Shrestha.
