Amendment bill tabled against parliamentary practice: Nepal

Urlabari (Morang)- CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has blamed the incumbent government that it registered the constitution amendment bill against parliamentary practices and ruling.

madhav-kumar-nepal_20150305114043Speaking to journalists in Biratnagar on Sunday, leader Nepal further claimed that the bill was registered despite the objection of the all opposition parties.

The former Prime Minister argued that it was inappropriate for the government to go on tabling the bill against the practice of postponing parliamentary meetings in case of objection from the opposition.

Nepal stressed on halting the amendment process and forwarding the bill related to formulation of laws for elections in which the UML agrees to. RSS
