Inaugurating the 3rd council of Bharatpur Sub-metroplis on Tuesday, PM Dahal said the role Prithivi Narayan Shah played in nation building is unforgettable. “At a time when the English had colonized neighbouring India, Nepal’s powerful position taken by Prithvi Narayan Shah played significant role to keep the country integrated and united,” the PM lauded the role of the unifier, adding that there was however a debate currently on evaluation of his role in view of the issues of the indigenous community.
